Born of Blessed Thought

Written by  on July 13, 2009

Faster than the speed of Life
is God’s forgiveness of our misgivings
about our selves

The Speed of Light
carries its message
that time is space
eternal and everlasting
you are born star bright, void of lies
the Tao of Peace shines in your eyes

In each of us is the seed of Life
and it is brought to fruition
by our desire to know

Nature has nothing to hide
You have a lifetime to seek
Finding the Truth and letting it go
The game is the same for the strong and the meek

Be not afraid of pleasure
But steer clear of temptation
Allow yourself to love at your leisure
The Love you came from is beyond measure

All in all there is nothing left to do
‘cept smile smile smile
Light up, toss a bum a dime
Bum a song and bum a line
Play “He’s Gone” one more time
Travel freely all the while

with a strange awakening.

Ah, yes,

the subtleties

of a summer breeze.

Memories from the subconscious

rise to the surface.

Tears well deep inside, inductively from

these ripples of experience.

Food For God

Written by  on March 18, 2008

Food For God

To those hungering for ecstasy
Wishing to merge with the infinite sea
Right now lives every possibility
To swim joyfully, ecstatically free

Ask the first person smiling
Wisdom rests on a contented face
Listen carefully then let it go
Truth has no need to race

Ask the girl twirling in the air
Making love while fingering her hair
She laughs at lies, fears no crying
never judges, doesn’t even dare

Ask the boy dancing free
Spinning in space, relatively
Time bends from his soul
He reflects on his life positively

Ask the old woman, she might know
She has lived her life whole
And is still willing to grow
How to feel good, she says, I’ll tell you how
Live this fine moment right here in the now

What works wonders for me
Is seeing myself in others the best I can
Be it woman or be it man
Being a loving person is being human

And if in any way I am caught by doubt
I use my love for God to figure it out
I ask for forgiveness and look for connection
I dance to the rock of ecstatic perfection

I read the Good Book
I give a knowing look
Still I keep my eye peeled
For that internal devil
Prejudiced pride is not on the level

Be a generous and loving neighbor
Create a kind mood
Think of Love as God’s favorite food

We deserve to serve it
Give it away
Offer it humbly, day by day

The more Love we share
The more does God provide
The clearer the picture
The safer the ride

Our Love for each other
Is God’s favorite meal
The reward for the feeding
is the ability to feel

Family Home

Written by  on June 11, 2007

A welcoming home wide open,
soothed by breezes breathing free.
Shaded from trees grown wise through the ages
illuminated with love learned and taught.
Founded on solid rock strengthened by thought.

All paths lead to this peaceful place
a destination of refuge, salvation and grace
warmed by the hearth, abundant bread.
No one denied entry, no one arrives late
Gently we are guided through the gate.

Manifest this very moment
These self evident truths we hold dear.
Without action or reaction, all is well.
Our eyes see present and clear
Each heartbeat releasing fear.

From God’s essence we emerge
and in His sacred heart we remain.
Our mind breathing deep.
Peace and passion supplanting lust.
Agape kisses sealing trust.

The floor beneath us drops.
Our feet they hang.
We look up –
the roof is gone.

The roof is gone.
We are directly connected
to the Divine.

Thanks to the Holy Sound.
Every time we meditate
We find a finer way
to carve our fate.

The earth turns on forgiveness, axis secure.

The moment paradise flashes
every supplication
is granted to us
the host of a chance.

We are One by belief
inclusion confirmed by inquiry
every natural law proving equality
and omnipresent everlasting unity.

This expansive view confirms no doubt
Knowing with a sweet smile
We all share a common source
the Universal Mind.

Inclusion beyond belief
There is never only me
and there is no other
Our family is always One with another.

We receive all that we give.
We experience all we need to learn.
Our mind can dissolve
right here and right now
those illusions that make us cry.
Our very thoughts
Allows the Earth to spin and
suspends the sky.

Everything we focus on expands
Be it love we make or tears of regret
The key to mastery is no secret.

Repetitious?
Perhaps, but with good reason.
Lighting up the mind merits repeating.
In this way we measure time.
A repeating chime.
Cyclical. Like desires.
Quantum, multidimensional. Revolutionary.

Re-turning at last
in this century twenty-first.
Floods and fires passed.
All things possible reign.
Golden grain grows again.

And it comes to be
We find our home
Inside our selves.
We were never lost, we now see
Our family home exists in eternity.

For ever beginning

Written by  on September 26, 2006

For ever beginning.
Born again without end.
Creation in every way
decayed and renewed

always.

I pray
with God’s hands
gently cradling
my head.
I feel
with God’s love
filling my heart.
I see
with God’s eyes
guiding me
inside my mind.
I give
with God’s grace
abundantly
in my life.

What creates smiles these days?
For me, it chiming guitars.
Some rhythmic complexity.
A neat turn of expression or two
to subside the tides of belief.

God equates
all as one.
God equates
two with fun.
God equates
nothing is wrong.
God equates
love and song.
God equates
Peace on Earth.
God equates
equality at birth.
God equates
creation with celebration.
God equates
inspiration with elation.
God equates
togetherness with individuality.
God equates
Universal truth with man’s reality.
God equates
chaos with opportunity.
God equates
autonomy with unity.
God equates
all who go with all that remain.
God equates
One constant life to sustain.

Get it.
Don’t forget it.
Let it.
Don’t leave it.
Spread it and believe it.
Laugh it
and live it.

Jesus Smiled

Written by  on May 28, 2006

Jesus returned
after two thousand years.
He appeared to all
and smiled.
“Weep no more,”
His smile said.
“Dry each other’s tears.
God’s gift of grace
is born in every child.

You can not lose it
and you can not refuse it.
You are created in my likeness,
the light of the world.
Release your judgments,
Ease your fears.

The peace you seek
exists within you here and now
never lost and
always right in your hand.
In union with God you lie
like the shepherd with the lamb.

God offers bounteous bread.
Leavened by love
as one family, we may all partake.

God grants eternal life
to all who accept it as their fate.

God plants ability of mind.
To nature’s wish we must tend.

God supplies healing love
allowing broken hearts to mend.

Bite your tongue and
dodge the bullets.
God is complete
in a grain of sand.
All cliches in time
come true.

Cast off all doubt, let it go.
It costs no fear to be saved.
Accept the love you already are.
Consider yourself so.

We are all conceived
by the Light
of a living star.
It is your destiny
to discover the Truth.
You need not look far.

Slow it down a bit,
You’re not going any where.
There really is no “there” to go.
Only here and now.
It matters not
whether you’re strong or mild,
safe at home
or surviving in the wild.
Love is who you are.
You need not know how.

Your merit of God’s Love
does not dwindle,
no matter the depths you fall
or hatred you kindle.
Never has Love known more.
More can not supplant all.
Nothing changes what I say.
You can bet your life on these stakes.
The universe was created perfect
and remains perfect that way.
God does not make mistakes”

And Jesus smiled,
“Every creature alive on the Earth
has my unconditional love and respect.
Accept your redemption with every breath.
Life is joyful union and
salvation is present at birth.
The love of God overcomes death.

I mind not any deed you’ve done
or judge any word you say.
Please indulge yourself
and practice this lesson today.
Play with others as if you were me.

Focus on wholeness, and love one another.
Discover the joy that connects.
God’s perfection shines the Truth
everything born of nature reflects.

Growth comes with every step we take,
and each thought passed by our mind.

How often have you thought
you have more than you need?

How often have you thought
it feels good to be kind?

How often have you thought
God wants you to succeed?

How often have you succeeded
in accepting what you find?

The past, a footprint in the dust.
The future, the fruit of our creed.
Here and now is eternal time
given us to harvest honey.
There is plenty for everyone
and many mouths to feed.
Do we really have a need
for lawyers, guns or money?

Hard lovers and easy riders too,
I wink a nod of approval to you.
It is your respect I wish to earn.
The same applies to all as to others,
Mohammad, the Buddha and I
breathe as brothers.
They have much to teach me
cause I have much to learn.

My message is simple.
God loves you for who you are
regardless of the illusions you maintain.
Believe it or not,
our maker has no need for judgment.
You were created perfect
and perfect you remain.

Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or Jew,
those who are not sure,
Hindu and all atheists too.
With you I pray and play,
Sing poetry and practice meditation.
Imagine a universe safe and pure.

You can criticize and condemn
or you can change and discover.
Perhaps self-righteousness
leads to decay,
and denying evolution
makes static pain endure.”

And Jesus smiled,
“The future looks dim for bigotry
and those who spare no expense on their greed.
Waging a war, be it sport or game,
may one day make you weep.
Does one man deserve
more than another?
Competition or cooperation,
which focus betters our keep?
What reason is there
to deny our brother?

Truth does not separate
the treasures we have from the abundance we think.
Eternal thought is pure,
peaceful waters run deep.
A satisfied man shares
his first and last drink.

Supplied for you are miraculous means
and your heart’s beat measures all ends.
You were born whole and complete.
Your body will return to dust
just as your family and your friends.
I reach out my hand to you,
if it’s a hand you need.
But as I told you before,
you are perfect just as you are,
you are grown from God’s seed.
You are the air
and you are the land.
You are the All to your very core.
You are beautiful as you are born
and remain so forever and more.”

And Jesus smiled,
“Have brave and original thought.
Be right here and right now,
alive in the moment.
Tread on fear.
Choose words that allow others heaven.
Reign in your soul,
storm in your brain.
Listen for music
that lightens your day.

Respect your body – perfect but temporary.
Truly a glorious temple
raised with bones by spirit.
You are magnificent creatures
I’ll tell you again and again.
You’ll recognize my voice
every time you hear it,
and pass it on
every time you smile.
My message is always the same.
I wish for you all a lover’s kiss.
Time now to relax a while.”

“You are composed of that holiness
which blesses the stars into view.

The moon too, like the sun
is born of the same essence as you.
Rolling with the sky
can consume all that you do.

Any rhyme with compassion
has no need to lie.
Your economy follows from your brotherhood.
Material fortune founded by greed
is withered and rotten.
Your worth is the love
you are willing to give.
Your debts, witholdings misbegotten.

Need does not reckon want.
Satisfaction is simple deduction.
There is nothing in the past
you need to know.
You come alive
when you choose to
let your love for God grow.

Disease comes and goes,
ebbs and flows like all nature.
It can either be dwelt upon
or diminished by the mind.
Our job is to heal one another.
Let our tongues speak our passion.
Forgive all trespasses.
Force guilt to resign.

Dance
when your feet find their righteous stand.
Being Light in motion
is a blessing for every man.

Sleep under the stars at night.
Regard each other
with abundance in sight.

Live daily as if it were your last.
Remember each day
to forget the past.

Regard yourself well
and without separation.
The chain of love has no missing link.
We are all related closer
than the human mind can think.

The sum of All is One.
You can figure it out
by figuring out the difference
between what you need to do
and what others should.

Do that which reveals joy.
It manifests wealth.

Do that which feels good.
It manifests health.

If you must resist a temptation,
resist the temptation to judge.

Instead of criticizing,
give others a loving nudge.

Let peace be your passion.
Make charity a priority.
Respect each other
with clarity and sobriety.
You will be rich, happy, wise
and never in the minority”

Jesus bowed in namaste
and smiled again,
“Take comfort in the knowledge
our hearts entwine forever more.
My blood runs through your veins.
I await for you on every shore.

Remember who you are and
forget the lies you have been taught.
Think no fear and fear no thought.

God’s Love is alive
wherever you look.
The master key for all locks,
written in every book.
Let God guide your sight
and reveal the wisdom
to allow all that you might.

Meditate on my words but
travel beyond these lines.
I kiss your face gently
any time the sun shines.
In the darkest night
I carry within you
an ever lasting light.

Love’s language composes you
and sings your song forever.
God knows all Ways
and is always
willing to deliver.

Sow a spiritual garden.
Tend to the seed.
Focus on ways
by which All is agreed.
Let go of limitations,
the Universe provides as you believe.
The Truth is yours for the seeing.
Give to others what you would receive.
God’s Love is alive in every being.”

Paradise for Moriarty

Written by  on May 12, 2006

On the road, paved with schemes

Thumbed out, back cracked,

Fixin’ to fix the broken jack.

Abundance in trust

with relations to last.

Not knowing who or when to stop

Pretending my past.

Beat as heck,

I am bumming

these dharma blues.

Light the Way

Written by  on December 7, 2005

Christmas time spirit
Even those not listening can hear it
The glorious sound of angels above
Is no less than God’s heart beating Love
Through every vein
And in every way
Feeding us our daily bread
We barely notice we are being led
To shine like the sun on a beautiful day
Who is this child born Jesus?
No other than the Light within us
The Spirit of Forgiveness

Wing Sleep

Written by  on November 27, 2005

Fly in sleep
Bell the gong
Reverse the age
Silent song
My eyelids lie lidden with dust
The faucet drips
The razor’s edge rusts
Dreams of youth have fled
with dreams of lust

Waking where the willows weep
Considering rolling over
Sinking soundly back into sleep
Down in the ravines
where kudzu creepers creep
Imagining some thoughts
I should better not keep
Giving myself away
to the tealeaves that steep
Wandering through waters
my knees measure deep

I slip myself through
as posey children sing
round rosey ring
All things are possible
God bless the king

Liberty loves company
dancing free, destined to see
often lit, catcher mitt
couplet split, creation fit
lighthouse hat, happy and fat

Weep if you will
Tears of appreciation

Tears of acceptance
and resolve

Tears of sweetness
and healing

Tears of lightness
and revealing

Tears that defy fear
and reflect the Truth

You are essential
This has always been true

It is your desire
with which everything connects

Everything connects
God’s Love to you.

Blowing in the mind going home
Sunshine Starshine Om
I sing the body of Walt Whitman
I breathe the mind of Allen Ginsberg
I revel in Joycian language landscapes
I take a trip on Cowboy Neal’s bus
I kiss Jimi Hendrix’s sky
I dance to the beat of Jack Kerouac
I space my time gratefully dying
I chase white rabbits
I read the news today, oh boy
I feel the poetry of Bob Dylan
I take a load off with the Band
I sympathize with the Devil
I roll with the Stones
I feel free with Cream
I turn turn turn with the Byrds
I let it be with the Beatles
I moondance with Van the mystical man
I talk with my head same as it ever was
I pearl jam my daily bread
I R.E.M. in my sleep
I politicize compassion
I am revealed in rhyme
I follow the Way and stay out of the way
I have everything and own nothing
I respect the musical wind
I eat the food of the gods
I am One with my brothers and sisters
I float on the pillow surreal
I dream the love that seems so real

Co-Creator Conspiracy

Written by  on November 24, 2005

Heaven lives where our heart rests
Hell is illusion in place – seeding to exist
with conflicts of interest
behind confines of imprisoned minds
in those moments we choose not to be kind

Our tongue – by tradition, an easy bribe
carves words that denounce and describe
life both ignorant and sublime
expecting still a return
in space and in time

When our eye focuses on brutality
We are polarizing reality
we must manifest equity
unfolding our love
as a butterfly creates a flower
balance of nature reveals
inner power

Creating peace
through peaceful consciousness
builds bridges of positive possibility
we are
each one of us
up to it

Erecting a bridge of expansion
connecting thought to outcome
this alone is our own
responsibility

Love is God’s main course
Desire, a justified dessert
Ecstasy, the food of prayer
Nourishing us and healing hurt.

When our smiles are sweet
Our eyes fired with delight
we know
without doubt
our path is right

No one experiences hell
by wishing their neighbor well
and lifting them on their way
together, and by choice
we create a lighter day

In the palm of our hand
are counted grains of sand

We all choose our own voice
to judge each other or rejoice

So my friend , rest assured
let me put your mind at ease
We are healed and we are cured
We have collectively kicked every disease
Our prayer is always heard
without even saying please

Let’s use interchangeable pronouns
It doesn’t matter how It is pronounced
Me or Him or You or We
Any One sets any other One free

Miracles Breathe Free

Written by  on November 23, 2005

Miracles respire
like the breath of life
poetry verse and universe true
symmetry and equality
inequality too

Tears of rage and tears of grief
are miracles of human relief
Laughter and ecstasy are reminders
we can feel divine belief

Chaos and order are the twin brothers
of that miracle we call creation
Alternately dominating and subjugating
Examples of interdependent relation

Miracles are the fingerprint
for the mysteries of fate and fortune
Belly full and beautiful
or singing the blues out of tune

Catch 22, a miraculous catch
Male and female, a miraculous match
A miracle can not be locked up
Like love, it has no latch

Tao Jones

Written by  on November 23, 2005

There are any number of ways
the Truth can show
There is only one way
We go
That way has no direction
There is nothing there to know

Howl at the moon
Howl as you sway
lay down a rhythm, ride a wave
If there were rules against it
It would not be
the way

Oh, no.
Let us not start that game
where
everything is ambivalent
There is only one
way

Positively 4th Grade

Written by  on November 23, 2005

Hey Everybody! Those of every age
how about some free poetry
A few lines of generic rhyme
Written down so all can see

Now is the time
Be it a poem or a tree
Both are grown from God’s Earth
Blooming honestly

St. Stephen Daedalus
Dreaming of his mother’s rose
Haunted from the heart he goes
Playing that tune heard deep inside
Music hints at mysteries Heaven knows

It is useless to judge
Idealize, idolize, or compare
Nudge someone, compassionately now
We all have Love to spare

When we use consciously applied respect
For every song and every dance
It is senseless to pretend
And ridiculous to hide
When we have humility
We have no need for pride

A coupla couplets and some fancy preachin
Will not change the world, it is vain reachin
Just as looking backward for truth
Tricks us into missin today’s teachin

Peace is in the balance
of thought, word, and deed
Forgiveness triumphs over hatred and greed
The clear black night celebrates the dawn of day

Life is a vibration
goin back and forth, like a relay
yin and yang, the silent bang
alternately inspired and utterly tired
It is all One poem anyway

Peaced Together

Written by  on November 23, 2005

Like a puzzle it was
Pieced together by a feeling
Falling into place
Peacefully unfolding
Freeing and redeeming
But mostly fun

Down the rabbit hole and over the rainbow
Clouds formed gently upon thoughts sky high
There is no need to lie
and no need to steal
Once you realize it’s all yours to reveal
